We have built this group program to fit those who are new to exercise, haven’t exercised in a while or just aren’t wanting to do high intensity training every single time they do a session. We get you in a training zone and performing exercises individualised to you.
Safety is ‘our thing’. This is why we really like to get to know you before you go in to regular classes. Book in to 2 orientation sessions and then pick what you like.
The sessions can be as hard as you want them to be. The coach is not going to be shouting at anybody to ‘go harder’. He or she will be encouraging but don’t expect the drill sargeant or artificial high fiving and the stuck on impossible smiling thing 🙂 Don’t know about you but I hate that! There are many fitness businesses already that do that, we prefer down to earth, real without the razzamatazz.
I will be honest with you here as I should! All exercise has the potential to help you lose weight but it is probably more fat loss you are meaning. The bottom line is you can’t out train the wrong diet for you but exercise has many other benefits beyond the body beautiful. If that is your main focus then nutrition coaching and or personal training might be for you.
This is a great program for that. Remember that a good diet must support your exercise training to have maximum positive results.
Not everyone needs or wants support in this area. So we have other options that cover nutrition coaching specifically. We also run 6 week challenges from time to time to really bring some extra focus around eating well and simultaneously raising the bar intelligently and within tolerable limits for your current exercise routine.
We are currently in test mode and have an offer of 3 sessions for $29 for first timers. Then we are simply selling 10 packs for $249 or 20 packs for $440. You book in yourself and only lose the session if less than 12 hours notice is given to change or cancel the booking.
That is fine, the program is aimed to complement anything else you might do and fill in gaps in your training. A lot of people are great with cardio but really struggle with strength, or good with an exercise routine but know they would do better with a focus on improving mobility. It is important to have a balanced approach.
The plan is to build this program out to possibly 30 or more sessions per week. It will all depend on how popular it becomes. It is our belief that most other options out there for people to exercise in a group are too intense to maintain long term and sometimes actually present a high risk of injury. So invite your friends if you like it!
We don’t want to have this as a random, ‘come when you please’ program because we know commitment works. From both sides actually. We are aiming to encourage your commitment by letting you control your bookings when you purchase your pack. You will be able to immediately book the sessions you want in advance.
We will be in contact after you make your bookings and have chat. You will also need to fill in a pre activity medical questionnaire and sign our standard insurance form. We will make sure you are okay on your first session and always going forward!
